Held in Durban, this year’s event is hosted by the South African Army. The event will ended on 21 February 2017 with the Main Parade. Community members and learners from different schools flocked in their numbers to interact, learn and explore possible opportunities within the SANDF. The SA Army, SA Air Force and Military Health Service bands and precision drills entertained the crowd. AFD is an important highlight in the calendar of the SANDF, like our SA Navy festival, the event allows the public to meet and see military precision in action. Read more in the next article on the AFD 17 when we report back on all the specific activities that took place.
