Few opportunities have been afforded to educational institutions to visit the South African Navy in the past except during the annual SA Navy Festival. As such, the Fleet hosted an open day in order to expose learners to the career opportunities that are available in the South African Navy. The initiative will be held on a regular basis in order to make the South African Navy more accessible to the youth.
