HMS PORTLAND visits the Fleet

HMS PORTLAND (F79) is in Simonís Town from the 4th October to the 7th November for an informal visit as a Port Call. The Officer Commanding, Captain Paul Stroude was welcomed by the Acting Flag Officer Commanding, Captain Douglas Faure.

They discussed the various aspects of their respective navies before handing over a crest to one another. After their Port Call in Simonís Town, the F79 will head over to South America as well as a few other ports before heading back to their home port early next year.
